We are God’s hands and feet. Together we seek to follow the call of Jesus Christ. Empowered by God’s Spirit, we commit ourselves to doing God’s work: seeking justice, loving kindness, making peace, and walking humbly together with God.

Happenings

Peg Stearn will return to the Lounge/Chapel for a workshop on October 30 and 31 (6:30-8:30, and 9:30-5:30).  The theme is “Living and Dying Consciously: Learning to Understand and Embrace the Dying Process Both for Ourselves and Others.”  To register, email or call Betsy Howlett (betsyw@crocker.com or 253-2143), then come to the workshop with a check for $150 (made out to Peg Stearn).

On November 1, All Saints Sunday, all are invited to bring photos and other mementos of loved ones who have died.  After the service, there will be a reception in memory of Duncan Rollason, hosted by his daughter, Betsy.

The Tide is Rising and So Are We:  Through short videos and small group discussion, we will explore our responses to the climate crisis.  We will consider possible actions each of us can take as well as examine obstacles that get in the way of thinking about the climate or taking action.  We will also share stories of success.  November 8, 12:15-1:30.  A simple lunch will be available for participants.  Led by the Earth Ministry Team.
